INTENSIVES
What is an intensive?
An intensive is a focused block of extended sessions, usually a half day, a full day, and/or several days in a row, instead of the traditional weekly 50-minute hour. Because we're not stopping and restarting every week, we can go deeper and stay with what's coming up long enough for real change to happen.
In weekly therapy or coaching, a lot of time goes to catching up, warming up, and winding down. In an intensive, there's room to settle in, work with the part of you that's stuck, and let a new experience actually land in your body, not just your mind. That's what makes change last, since insight alone rarely shifts a long-standing pattern.
Intensives can be a good fit if you:
feel stuck despite understanding your patterns
want to make faster progress on a specific issue or relationship
have a busy schedule and can't commit to weekly sessions
are a couple wanting dedicated time to reconnect and work through a cycle on a faster timeline
If you have more questions, reach out.
We'll talk beforehand to make sure an intensive fits your goals and availability.

ACCELERATED RESOLUTION THERAPY (ART)
A brief, focused approach for fast relief from distress tied to a specific memory, image, or symptom. In 2–5 sessions, ART uses eye movements and guided imagery to help your system reprocess an experience — without requiring you to disclose it in detail. Well-suited to trauma, intrusive memories, phobias, and reactions that feel physically or emotionally "stuck." Learn more.
BRAINSPOTTING*
A brain-body approach that goes beyond talk therapy to reach the subcortical brain, where trauma and emotion are stored. Based on the idea that where you look affects how you feel, Brainspotting uses your visual field to locate points that trigger deep processing — bypassing the analytical brain to get at distress you can't simply think your way out of. INFERENCE-BASED COGNITIVE THERAPY (I-CBT)
Built specifically for OCD and related conditions driven by chronic doubt, intrusive thoughts, and mental (or behavioral) compulsions. There are approximately 6-8 sessions. Sessions run once or twice weekly to keep momentum and support real integration.

3 SESSION COHERENCE INTENSIVE*
A three-session arc for people who already understand one of their patterns but can’t seem to shift it. A Preparation session (1.5+ hours)identifies the targeted pattern and maps where the pattern actually lives. A Process session (2+ hours) does the embodied work to give you a felt alternative (not just a new insight); an Integration session builds the bridge back into daily life. Best suited to those who are insight-rich, still stuck, and ready for depth over duration.
FULL DAY MEMORY RECONSOLIDATION INTENSIVE*
Memories aren’t locked files. They’re rebuilt each time they open. Reactivated memories become labile, meaning they can be strengthened or become sensitive to disruption. This full day (5 hour) intensive is built on the finding that this window of plasticity is open for several hours once activated. With an in-depth intake and a preparation session, we establish targets of the reconsolidation process and explore your system’s responses to various modalities that will facilitate transformational change. Possible modalities include: ART, Brainspotting, Parts-work, active imagination, etc. This is best suited for those ready to feel into their unconscious learnings in service to changing their lives - quickly and safely.
PEAK EXPERIENCE PREP & INTEGRATION*
Some states — from dreams, breath work, or plant medicine — open real windows for change, but their impact often stays fragmented without the right preparation and integration. These sessions help you prepare for and metabolize non-ordinary states in a way that’s grounded and sustainable.
*Can be experienced in both a clinical or non-clinical container. All other intensives are therapy & can only be provided in CA, CT, WA, VA, and FL
